Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Keevi (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our cloud storage service (the “Service”), and explains the rights and choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

01. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Content you upload — the photos, videos, and other media you add to your library, together with related metadata such as file names, sizes, and formats.
  • Usage and technical data — information generated as you use the Service, such as your IP address, browser and device type, access times, and actions taken (for example uploads, downloads, and shares).
  • Cookies and local storage — small pieces of data stored in your browser that keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your language and view settings.

02. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, maintain, and operate the Service, including storing and delivering your media;
  • authenticate you and keep your account secure;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • understand how the Service is used so we can improve its reliability and performance;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

03. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not display third-party advertising. We do not use the content you upload to train machine-learning models. Your files are encrypted at rest using zero-access encryption; we do not access or view the content of your files under any circumstances.

04. Cookies and similar technologies

The Service uses cookies and browser local storage that are necessary for it to function — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your language and display preferences. Because these are strictly necessary, disabling them may prevent you from signing in or using core features. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

05. How your information is stored and secured

Your uploaded media is encrypted at rest using zero-access encryption and stored via third-party infrastructure and storage providers on our behalf. Our architecture is designed so that neither we nor our storage providers access the content of your files.

We apply additional technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including signed session tokens, cryptographic payload signatures verified on every upload, and encrypted (HTTPS) connections for data in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for maintaining your own backups of important files.

06. How we share information

We share information only in the limited circumstances described below:

  • Service providers — infrastructure, storage, and similar vendors that process data on our behalf and only as needed to operate the Service.
  • Shared albums — when you invite someone to an album, the people who join can see the photos in it. You choose who to invite, and you can remove a member at any time.
  • Legal reasons — when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.
  • Business transfers — if the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

07. Data retention

We retain your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. When you delete an item it is moved to Trash and can be restored until it is permanently deleted; permanently deleted items and their stored data are removed. When you delete your account, your stored media is deleted. Some limited information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

08. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — view the content and account information associated with your account.
  • Export — download copies of your media from your library at any time.
  • Correction — update your account information.
  • Deletion — delete individual items or your entire account.
  • Objection or restriction — where applicable law provides for it, object to or request restriction of certain processing.

09. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can remove it.

10. International transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, and those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Contact

If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact the service operator at [email protected].
